He just finished his undergrad and I've been done for a few years now--so there is an age difference. We are fully committed, but we're just kind of taking it slow, waiting for our lives to align. He is about to go to grad school and I'm preparing for the same thing. Hopefully we can go to the same school, but there are no guarantees. We don't want to limit each other. Even though we'll probably still be doing the long distance thing, we plan on staying together. It might be hard, but we love each other enough to make it work. I actually would like to, if you will allow me, to apologize. I'd like to apologize for myself and on behalf of Christians everywhere who have not acted in love toward homosexuals. I will acknowledge that many of us have acted out of hate or fear instead of love. Please pardon this quotation if it offends you but "all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God" which means <i>every</i> person including Christians. No one has cause to be on a high horse and look down on another and had those Christians who have spewed such venom at homosexuals better understood what their Lord teaches, perhaps they would have shown more love. Please know that I do care about you and love you and that God does, too. It sounds like you have a bad taste in your mouth for Christians (and Catholics). I'm sorry if I have at all perpetuated your feeling of being unloved or unaccepted. I cannot change what has been done by myself or others, but I hope that you will accept my apology and I hope that you find in me at least one person who sees who you are and loves you anyway...
